My name is Carlo Borns, founder of CB-Industrials.
From the very beginning, my goal was to create a company that is not only economically successful, but also has a positive impact on society and especially on employees.
Occupational safety and vocational training were particularly close to my heart.

During the last few years as an engineer in various manufacturing companies, I have experienced first-hand the importance of occupational health and safety for employees.
Safety and health in the workplace are essential to ensure the health and well-being of employees and thus also to increase their productivity and performance.

Another topic that is particularly important to me is vocational training.
It is important to me to support young people in their education and to actively promote education and vocational training. In particular, I would like to support companies in taking the first step and becoming a training company themselves. I am convinced that vocational training is the sharpest sword against the shortage of skilled workers and will make a decisive contribution to the sustainable recruitment of young talent by a company.

• Several years of professional experience as engineer and technical manager in various manufacturing companies.
• Many years of professional experience in various industries, including chemical industry, pipeline and vessel construction, welding engineering, waste management and sealing technology
• Trained plant mechanic for apparatus and tank construction (Henkel AG & Co. KG aA)
• Trainer for various professions with focus on metal technology, production technology and logistics
• Certified welder, specializing in tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding.
• Certified pressure vessel specialist in the field of manufacturing and maintenance (PED 2014/68/EU, AD2000, EN 13445 and ASME Code)

• Visual inspector for welded joints (W) according to DIN EN ISO 9712 (VT1 and VT2)

• Certified engineer for bolted joint connections according to DIN EN 1591-4 / flange calculation according to DIN EN 1591-1
• Specialist for bolted joint connections in gas systems according to DIN EN 1591-4 / DVGW Technical Information No. 19
